Shilpa is an engineer through school, and a content creator by passion. She follows the motto by Emile Zola, "If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud."
Shilpa is a freelance correspondent at TV Asia, a national south asian network, and has been a lead host for over 15+ years. Shilpa can also be seen as a recurring host on YouTube's Talks at Google channel. Shilpa has been trained through NBCUniversal's Digital Journalism program and by Fox News host Patricia Stark.
Shilpa's broad expertise and versatile approach allow her to capture compelling interviews across genres from entertainment to technology. To name a few, Shilpa's interview roster includes top Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra to Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran.
When not on the red carpet or the hot seat interviewing a guest, Shilpa is strengthening her acting & improv skills at the Barrow Group. Shilpa was selected for ABC's and CBS's Talent Showcase. She recently performed a standup comedy bit at Caroline's on Broadway.
